I thought it should be easy to pose a bone so it fits between to vertices: First move and snap the root of the bone to the first vertex v0
, and then rotate the bone so that the tip of the bone snaps to the second vertex v1
. (The length of the bone can be assumed to be almost equal to the length between the two vertices).
However, rotation snapping is mysterious: Its behaviour gives me no idea how this feature works. How does the rotation snapping feature works? How do I rotate and snap the tip of my bone to the other vertex? I want to move the bone from rest position to my new, precise position so that I can animate this movement.
