Dynamic topology is a new sculpting mode that subdivides the mesh as needed, whereas regular sculpting only affects the shape of a mesh. This makes it possible to sculpt complex shapes out of a simple mesh, rather than just adding details onto a modeled base mesh.

Keep straight and sharp lines when sculpting with Dyntopo

Change the Dyntopo Detail Refine Method settings from Subdivide Collapse to Subdivide Edges.

How do I keep a sharp and straight line when sculpting?If I decrease the res detail the line isn't sharp anymore and if I increase the res it becomes jiggly...and how do i keep the tip sharp?Thanks
