Hi, many thanks for this answer, very helpfull. Now i tried this: paint a stone soil as uv-texture and save this texture. Then i wanted to use this saved texture as inverted Mask Texture. To do this, i tried to create a new paint brush, open node editor for texture brushes, create texture input and select this texture. Unfortunately i cannot find this texture in the selection list of texture input. I wanted to use this whole texture to invert it, then to use as as mask for texture painting. Otherwise the mask texture will not meet the painted whole texture. How can i realize this?
Thank you very much. I didn't realize that the alpha was zero. I cannot remember that i set it to zero. If i use RMB x or y, then the stencil image is flickering, but scaling is working. Can i avoid flickering?
i have the same problem posted in blender.stackexchange.com/questions/4922/…. A blending of two textures is not sufficient for me. For me it would be more interesting to integrate the bump of the ground to upper object. Additional i want to add some partialy dirt on the stones, like washed out through rain. Similar effects could be intresting for snowman, e.g. some snow on stones, but using the bump map of stones as well. But how can we realize this in blender?
This was the solution, thank you very much. I realized now that my new object consists of two materials after joining. I deleted one material and now all is shown again.
I have done exactly this: remove doubles (no doubles were found), Recalculate normals, unwraped the finished endmodel. In 3Dview/textureView it is correctly displayed. But the render doesn't show it correct.
