I want to render an animation in separate layers, with Smoke (Volumetric)Smoke (Volumetric) on one layer and the Scene (Mesh)Scene (Mesh) on another. But I ran into a problem—when I enable Indirect OnlyIndirect Only for the smoke Collection (Domain)Collection (Domain), the Glossy/ReflectionGlossy/Reflection of the smoke gets cut off in the RenderRender, even though it looks fine in the ViewportViewport.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Different SampleSample settings
- Disabling DenoiseDenoise
- Disabling Motion BlurMotion Blur
- Disabling Depth of FieldDepth of Field in the CameraCamera
- Increasing all Max BouncesMax Bounces to 12 under Render > Light PathsRender > Light Paths
- Render > Light Paths > Clamping > Indirect LightRender > Light Paths > Clamping > Indirect Light - testing different values
- Enabling/disabling Render > Film > TransparentRender > Film > Transparent
- Toggling Object VisibilityObject Visibility for both the MeshMesh and the DomainDomain
- Testing different Domain (Gas)Domain (Gas) sizes, with and without intersecting the MeshMesh
- Setting up the smoke ShaderShader with both Principled VolumePrincipled Volume and EmissionEmission
- Adjusting Clip Start/EndClip Start/End for the CameraCamera
- Moving everything to a new SceneScene
Please help, I’m out of ideas and not sure what else to try
