I want to render that effect, but when I do it they simply transform into a solid texture. I'm using Eevee

1$\begingroup$ Hello and welcome. Can you edit your question to provide some additional info? Which rendering engine are you using? What does the lens material node tree look like? $\endgroup$– Allen SimpsonCommented Oct 28, 2021 at 23:42

$\begingroup$ Thanks! I'm really no good with eevee, just getting into it recently, but I'm sure someone will have an answer for you. I do remember there being some settings for glass in Render Properties. $\endgroup$– Allen SimpsonCommented Oct 28, 2021 at 23:45

1$\begingroup$ have you enabled Blend Mode > Alpha Blend in the Material > Settings? $\endgroup$– moonbootsCommented Oct 29, 2021 at 1:59

1$\begingroup$ Then, I am afraid, this won't work. Rendering a transparent effect to a static texture will only ever work from one given angle. To my knowledge, there is no way of pre-rendering refraction for 3D-engines that don't support refraction. Could you tell us, which applications you want to export your model to? $\endgroup$– haarigertrollCommented Nov 1, 2021 at 8:06
