Anyone trying to import grease pencil drawing into another grease pencil file:

To add Blender Grease Pencil animations to a different file:

  • Open the file you wish to import into
  • Click File --> Append
  • SelectFind and double-click the Grease Pencil .blend File you want to import -->
  • A new menu of directories pops up, select COLLECTION -->
  • A new list of collections pops up --> select COLLECTION again.Select the specific collection that contains your grease pencil drawing
  • Done, your Grease Pencil objectyou should now be "in" anothersee your Grease Pencil canvasdrawing inside the new .blend file
