How tocan I isolate one object in the viewport and still have all the lighting and models around it still affecting it?

I want to isolate one object in the viewport ( II know iI can do that with "/"  ), but iI want the rest of the lighting and models to still affect it. I

I mainly want to use this for texturing certain elements in a big scene. Is there anya way to do this or itsis it a bit of a reach  ?
