Sep 19, 2020 at 10:53 | comment | added | Siriusfire | Thanks for the tips - I obviously need to do some study on fabric simulation - as I can create a rope between two fixed points but when I try to make one of the connected objects 'dynamic' the fabric seems to remember the initial points and then stretch wierdly as the object drops. Thanks again | |

The fabric can be configured in terms of stretchiness, and then you can construct a rope mesh that surrounds it using the Skin mod. Happy to write up an answer if you'd prefer. | |
