BTW why to create hole into plane as mask? Why don't cut out surface around? Can you share your simplified blend to let as better understand what are you trying achieve? Aug 23, 2020 at 6:26 | comment | added | person132 | It looked to me like you are trying to create a cut that doesnt start or end at an edge. the knife tool doesnt let you cut a shape out of the mdidle of the face, you have to start on one side and end on another. if you don't, it will try to do it for you by connecting to the corners like you saw. | |
