corrected kbd formatting
Mar 21, 2016 at 16:32 comment added Xtremity Random fiddle is the way I get most of my constraints working anyway. Sometimes you have to scroll the panels up to see the constraints - I don't know why It's probably a bug.

Mar 21, 2016 at 16:22 comment added Phantômaxx I know, but there's an EMPTY panel, where I have to choose a constaint, which I didn't. Or maybe I missed something? I have to select the second ball, then the cylinder then Ctrl+T, because the other way doesn't work. But it does not add the constraint in the panel. OK, it seem I have to add manually a TracTo constraint and randomly fiddle with the parameters till I find the right combo. Thanks!
Mar 21, 2016 at 16:19 comment added Xtremity It's on the Constraints tab in the properties panel - next to the Modifiers tab if you know where that is?

added 102 characters in body
Mar 21, 2016 at 16:14 comment added Phantômaxx Sorry for my ignorance... How do you do that? where did you input the parameters?
Mar 21, 2016 at 16:13 comment added Xtremity Adjust the options for the constraint. The default is to point the Y axis to face the sphere - in my example I needed the Z to point to the sphere, Y up.
Mar 21, 2016 at 16:01 comment added Phantômaxx Adjust the track axes means that I have to manually rotate the first sphere?
Mar 21, 2016 at 15:44 comment added Phantômaxx Sorry, my bad. It's Alt+O, not Alt+0... ;) Am I dummy!
Mar 21, 2016 at 15:25 comment added Phantômaxx @cegaton I applied location, scale, rotation, ...same story.
Mar 21, 2016 at 15:23 comment added user1853 Make sure you've applied scale on your object (Ctrl+A) in Object mode
Mar 21, 2016 at 15:20 comment added Phantômaxx Something weird happens. When I try to parent the cylinder to the sphere, the cylinder disappears
Mar 21, 2016 at 15:14 comment added Phantômaxx Looks promising! Let me see if I can put it to work.
