Capture Attributes captures attributes in the domain you specify in the currently evaluated geometry. Since you are not capturing attributes in the upper geometry (trace the green line backwards from the Viewer node), they cannot be read. If you want to transfer attributes from one geometry to another, you would have to do it with Sample Index.
