There's no color data in UV maps, they're just a texture coordinate system used to map the mesh's vertices into 2 dimensions. If you meant the color from the image texture to vertex colors, then this is pretty much what this answer does. It's storing the color data into the points vertices. Apply the GN modifier and take a look at the object data panel. | |
