Feb 2, 2021 at 3:39 comment added 1QuickQuestion @moonboots this is the example I'm thinking of: google.com/…
Feb 2, 2021 at 3:17 comment added moonboots please show a drawing of what you're trying to achieve, it will help to find a solution. Also, try to work with as few polygons as possible, your object is high-poly and it won't help to easily work on it
Feb 2, 2021 at 3:14 comment added 1QuickQuestion @moonboots that didn't quite do it, as it's not following the full curvature of the sphere's surface.

Added an image to help illustrate my question.
Feb 1, 2021 at 7:19 comment added 1QuickQuestion wow that link helped a lot! I'm going to test it out, as I need it to wrap around the different sides of the sphere.
Feb 1, 2021 at 7:10 comment added moonboots also it all depends on the topology of your object, you can delete some faces and scale down the edge to create your doors, having a clean topology will make the modeling easy
Feb 1, 2021 at 7:00 comment added moonboots the knife project tool is probably more convenient as you can prepare the shape before, see here youtube.com/watch?v=bR-hWPirFZQ , but maybe show some pictures of your project?
Feb 1, 2021 at 6:54 comment added 1QuickQuestion I've used the knife tool, but I was looking for a way to draw a shape and then overlay it on the surface of the sphere. The knife tool doesn't give the clean curves I'm looking for.
Feb 1, 2021 at 5:16 comment added moonboots you can cut edges with the knife tool or with the knife project tool, maybe check these tools and tell if this is what you're looking for?
