firstFirst you have to configurate the blender optionsconfigure Blender to work with measurements, enable snap  , select incrementincrement option (if iI am not mistaken enable snap itsis not needed but do it just in case) then select the part that you want and press G  , Y  , - (if you want to move it to the right dont, don't add a - simbol- symbol, left its - , + its+ means right, but you dontdon't need to place ++ because it's implicit - blender already understandsassumes that) then the value that you want to add 1(1 or 2 mm2 for example (without mm) if you cannot understand this.
