first you have to configurate the blender options to work with measurements, enable snap  , select increment option (if i am not mistaken enable snap its not needed but do it just in case) then select the part that you want and press G  , Y  , - (if you want to move it the right dont add a - simbol, left its - , + its right, but you dont need to place + because blender already understands that) the value that want to add 1 or 2 mm for example (without mm) if you cannot understand this see this tutotial :V https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOxN4CHeBPQ
