About

Wow. Where do I start? I was introduced to technology at the ripe age of 6 years old when my father purchased out first Commodore 64. My grandpa at the time was under home health aid, and one day while the nurse was caring for my grandpa she witnessed me on the computer typing away was I was loading a program. She seemed impressed, as my finders whizzed across each key, asking my father "How old is he?" I was only 6 at the time.

This is the point where I realized technology was my calling.

As Commodore technology was aging and personal computers were becoming more powerful, my father purchased our first Windows-based personal computer in 1996. This improved hardware enabled me to explore more demanding and cutting-edge PC games. From that point on, my fascination with technology only grew, and I quickly learned to build my own computer by the age of 15, setting the foundation for what was to come.

Professionally, my technology career took off when I joined a local bank as a help desk technician. There, I honed my problem-solving skills, troubleshooting issues with proprietary software, and excelling in the implementation of new applications. I learned all about the infrastructure of what allows IT to provide the technology stack a business needs to thrive and succeed at business. Additionally, I gained expertise in managing computer imaging during tech refresh cycles in corporate settings.

But I yearned for more knowledge and challenges. As a result, I dedicated myself to acquiring the expertise required to become a Systems Administrator. As I progressed, my journey led me to senior roles like Sr. Systems Administrator, and eventually, I found myself flourishing in Systems Engineering positions.

With technology's ever-evolving landscape, the buzz around DevOps captured my attention. Realizing the importance of staying relevant, I decided to broaden my skill set further, immersing myself in the world of software development and programming.

Today, I am a Cloud Architect and have worked in multiple industries as a Systems & Cloud Engineer, including but not limited to finance, retail, higher education, and multiple government sectors including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Health & Human Services.

I am determined to continue learning, growing, and seizing every chance to enhance my skills as I navigate the ever-changing landscape of technology. Collaboration is the key to success, and I eagerly anticipate the chance to network and collaborate with like-minded professionals, forging new paths in the world of cutting-edge software development.

Let's embark on this exciting journey together, pushing the boundaries of technology and achieving greatness as a united force in this ever-evolving digital frontier.

Thank you for reading -- let's create something great that will have a lasting impact on society.
