The first CG piece of code I wrote was to compute the B&W reflection of a grid on a spherical mirror, inspired by van EYCK's portrait of Giovanni Arnolfini and his wife; it was on ZX Spectrum. The first animation I coded was the mythical "Boing!" demo on Amiga 2000. The first video I recorded, one frame at a time on a VCR triggered by the Amiga, was a converging cylindrical shock wave modelled and rendered with Sculpt 4D.
Since, I have been teaching fluid mechanics, numerical recipes and turbomachinery. So, I am enjoying Blender as a hobby, probably more like an engineer than an artist.
