i cannot reboot my computer because it is doing a task that is not resume-able at the moment, i did check if thumbnails are enabled which they are and i also restarted file explorer and so far nothing has worked unfortunately

@GordonBrinkmann i did add another image strip to the bottom layer and added the one i showed on top and the alpha channel didnt work

this makes more sense. you may have to remesh or find another model online, theres plenty of whiskey glasses. unless if theres someone whos knows blender more than me this is my only suggestions. im glad i can help though

well, i ran what seems to be a exe file. then i opened up 4.1, and the error is still there

in that case may you share the tutorial that you have followed?

you may have to change the type of cup you are using, but what i suggest before you do that is use the remesh modifier (or a quad remesh addon if you have one) to recalculate the polygons. remember to apply when your happy with the look.
