Up leg weight paint

It doesnt follow the leg. What am I doing wrong?

It's because vertices of toes part of the mesh have weight 0 or little above. The easiest way to fix it will be: Select the mesh, go to Edit mode, select vertices, that makes toes part, Select Toe.L vertex group in Vertex Groups and click on Assign. It can make the weight to sharp though, so if that will be the case, select Toe.L in Weight Paint mode (basically exactly how it's on the image), press W and choose Assign Automatic from Bones.

  • $\begingroup$ I checked the file Mate, and You have a lot work to do. Boots are made from different not connected parts, so it will be almost impossible to weight paint them correctly. You have to fix the geometry first , join the parts of boots or use lattice controlled by the bone to control boots deformation. $\endgroup$ – Mzidare Oct 12 '16 at 5:20
