I'm having a problem with an animation rendering. I have a character on a motorcycle, and almost all of the frames are fine, but every so often I'll get a frame in which something strange is happening with the geometry. It looks like one vertex is getting pulled away from the character mesh (see the thin vertical line between the elbow and knee). Here are a couple images of the viewport; nothing strange happening, but it does show up in the render.
Any thoughts on why this would be happening? I rendered a second set of frames with different clothing and this doesn't happen. It's just the racing suit.
I checked my normals, all good there. I checked vertex weights and everything seems fine. I double-checked for overlapping geometry. Like I say, it just shows up in the render. This also happens when I just render the single frame.
I'm using Blender 3.4.1, Cycles.
It doesn't show up in Eevee, but I'll need to change up a bunch of my materials and lighting, and I'm not looking forward to that. Any help would be SUPER appreciated.
