I'm rendering an alembic geometry cache animation, that was generated in Houdini. Alembic cache is fine, as proven by Houdini playback itself, Blender view port, as well as Evee render:
However, for some of the frames, when rendering in Cycles, I will get triangulation issues, like so:
I have highlighted the problematic areas. On a single frame, its not very noticeable, but in a video, it jitters unacceptably.
The alembic is an object in Blender, with a MeshSequenceCache modifier. If I apply it, triangulation errors disappear, but the transparent shader will render wrong, with much brighter refraction.
Any thoughts on this? It appears to be some sort of a bug in Cycles, its very annoying.
