I have a material (Principled BSDF), with a image texture as the base color and a displacement node, that uses the same image texture. If I add the material to a object in a empty file and even if I then copy that object into my main file it shows with no problems. In my main file I have a ton of objects that use the material, but none of them show the image texture (but all other settings). Is this really that, computing intensive, that they wont load, or could there be another problem?

$\begingroup$ There are a couple things I would try: 1. When you import an object with the texture that works, can you not select the other objects and link their material data to the object that does display correctly? 2. Delete all of the objects except 1 with the material. Does it now display? 3. Using a version of the material you know works (one you've imported from another file), set the material override to that material (you have to be in Cycles for this). Based on the outcomes, you can probably determine whether it's setting somewhere or a rendering issue. Hope this helps narrow it down. $\endgroup$ Dec 7, 2022 at 19:43
