I have decided to use freestyle for my line art over the line art modifier for a few geometry features that it has. However, this is coming with the problem of not being able to render freestyle on geometry that purposely does not have any faces. I have tried every solution to try and get this to work, but sadly it does not seem to be possible. My last hope seems to be in compositing, however, I'm not sure if what I'm thinking of doing is even possible.

My idea is to use compositing to add extra parts to the freestyle before it calculates the line stylization. Let's say freestyle uses an alpha pass to calculate the line pass, would it be possible to add custom sections to the alpha pass before it does the calculation. (I'm not sure if freestyle uses an alpha pass like this, I'm just using it as a base for my question)
