I am trying to make a Superhero suit and export it as obj so that i can import it as an accesorry in CC3. But I have very Simple procedural materials on the suit. When I bake these textures it comes out completely wrong. I have only 2 Diffuse colours. these colours are nowhere near right when it bakes. its completely random or so it seems.I have only a single UV map and no rigging.the bump map baking has another problem, the border areas are somewhat stretched.and random areas are missing. while the baked diffuse map is having a different material color in the same space where bump map texture is missing.

Here is the simple texture setup. There are 3 materials on the character here is oneenter image description here the other 2 are just an isolated principled bsdf and an emission material. I tried recalculating normals. It didnt work Why is this problem occuring? How can i fix it? (No error is seen when i press bake)

  • $\begingroup$ Have you checked the UV map if there are any faces overlapping in the bad areas? What's the type you bake? (Diffuse? Emit? Combined?) $\endgroup$
