I made object in Blender. Want to export it so it can be viewed as 3D object in Windows 3D viewer, used in SketchUP or anything. I watched video about exporting as .fbx with Copy and Embeded texure, also did External pack into pack all into .blend and so on. Later I found that complex textures can't be exported, they have to be attached to Principled shader. I have PBR texture, I have PNG with emission. They have Color, Metalness, Roughness and so on - I have to use those nodes or my object won't have roughness and metallic, so I don't actually understand this - "They have to be attached to Principled Shader". They are but when I export it as .fbx model is white and don't have texture attached to it. What could possibly be problem, and fix to that?

  • $\begingroup$ Probably, but whatever I do, my texture is baked black. Baking in blender is very confusing to me. $\endgroup$
