I have geometry being created through geometry nodes and I am am trying to flip the normals on this duplicate geometry. However, it appears that normals are a read only attribute in the geometry nodes. Any ideas on how I can flip normals through geometry nodes?
Add a vector math node, set it to multiply, set the first socket as an attribute, the second socket to a vector and set all of the numbers to -1, write the result to position. The mesh is gonna be flipped and the normals are also gonna be flipped. To correct the rotation add a transform node after or before the vector math node, set the X, Y, or Z (or combination of them) rotation to 180°, see which one works. When I tried it X worked in all situations, but there might be a case where it doesn't.
