I have models in .obj format, used as assets for building a level. Is it possible to import them in blender in such a way that when the asset model is updated (I save the new version of the obj file), it gets automatically updated in the blender scene too?

It would be very convenient to build a level out of assets (like they do in unity/unreal), and be able to tweak the asset models when necessary, and have all of its instances updated in the blender file. Is there any way to do something like that?
