this scene is created with geometry nodes. I found something interesting. The instances are not touching the ground when the displacement value is increased.

Why the rocks are not touching the surface? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Appreciate your time and efforts. enter image description here

  • $\begingroup$ I’m going to ask you for my own sake: where do you get geometry nodes? Are they in a development version of blender, or an add-on, or what? I am using 2.91.2 so I may be outdated. $\endgroup$ – ZargulTheWizard Mar 21 at 3:56
  • $\begingroup$ I believe 2.92 and later versions have it. $\endgroup$ – BlenderNueva Mar 21 at 5:18

$\begingroup$ @ ZargulTheWizard, it's a new editor window -> Geometry Node Editor, it is still in development $\endgroup$ – moonboots Mar 21 at 6:33
  • $\begingroup$ Hello, could you post your geometry nodes tree too ? Without a little bit more info it's hard to guess. :) Did you make sure the origin of the particles is in the right place ? $\endgroup$ – Gorgious Mar 21 at 8:34
  • $\begingroup$ @Gorgious It is apparently not related to origin. I will add the notes to the original post. Thanks a lot! $\endgroup$ – BlenderNueva Mar 22 at 5:36
