The question might look dumb but I was wondering if it’s possible to do cloth simulation with a cloth mesh that I imported (for example, a dress in obj format) I already tried that but the dress is falling in pieces and I don’t know if I can do anything with it to work. I put a model human base and I set it as a collision. The dress in question is in tris, not quads.

If the faces are not connected you will have to connect them manually (usually merge by distance will work to reduce redundant vertces). If you need quads, you can use Face > Tris to Quads. $\endgroup$ – susu Jan 4 at 1:04
