I'm currently using the Blender Video Sequence Editor to manipulate some video files. However VSE draws a black column over the actual image in both the preview and the rendered file. The black column does not exist in the original video file.
In the picture attached, there is a selection from the VSE-preview, with a video player on top of it, displaying the source video file. While the original video contains the left most pixels from the video (spelling "220", "HELO", ...), they are not present in the preview.
Since the omitted data is quite relevant, I wonder how I can adjust Blender to display it. I hope you can provide me some hints on how to fix this issue.
I'm using Blender 2.83.5 from the Debian-Testing Repository.
