loop cutsaftermoundWhen adding loop cuts to my mesh (supposed to become the hood of a car), this creates a little mound in the middle of it. Does anybody know how to avoid this?

Thanks in advance :)

$\begingroup$ This is the expected behavior, and is a side effect of the catmull-clark subdivison. Because it interpolates between the geometry of your mesh, if you add more geometry, it will become less round. In this case, you should just be able to move the loop cuts into a more spherical shape to make it rounder again. $\endgroup$ – person132 Oct 17 '20 at 20:07
