# How can I test a python code in blender? [duplicate]

I want to run a code when I change the frame. I figured out that this may be useful but I don't know how to test it:

import bpy

def my_handler(scene):
print("Frame Change", scene.frame_current)

bpy.app.handlers.frame_change_pre.append(my_handler)

I entered the codes in the Python Console but nothing happens when I change the frame:

How can I see the output of this basic code?

• @batFINGER I would accept that the solution is Windows menu > Toggle System Counsel as stated in the links. Thank you, – user2824371 Sep 25 '20 at 16:35
