I'm lighting my scene with an HDRI and a point light. I want some shaders to be more affected by the HDRI than others. As in, I want some shaders to be more sensitive to the HDRI and absorb more light than others, without them being emissive! How can I achieve this? Thanks in advance!

  • $\begingroup$ There are a lot of things to consider here - how rough or shiny do you want the areas that are affected (or not)? There are any number of things that affect how much light (and what color) are "reflected" or "absorbed". We would need to know more about your setup and desired end result to be able to properly assist you. Maybe post some images of your desired result, and even consider uploading a minimized version of your .blend file here - blend-exchange.giantcowfilms.com $\endgroup$ – Christopher Bennett Aug 13 '20 at 16:58
