So I'm making a low poly model for a mobile game and I need some tips. I've made the low poly and hi poly meshes and baked the normals. Now I'm stuck with painting the albedo map of it, as I can't really paint the detail colors on top of normals. For example, it have a metal grid in some place, and after baking it normals, painting the metallic color on top of it are not giving me nice results. I thought about painting the hi poly version of it, and then baking the it on the color of low poly. However I'm not sure if this is the best approach. So this is it, is there any other (easier by the way) of getting it nice colored details without having to manually paint on top of it?
