Is there a way to have exactly the same meshes in edit and object mode?

I have the problem that I can't get the Origin or Cursor Point not in the center of a cube which is on a curve.

Because the Origin Point is sticking to the X Axis on the Edit mode and not in the cube in Object mode.

I already tried to use Ctlr + A > apply all transforms which doesn't work in my case.

Thank you.

  • $\begingroup$ can you provide a blend to reproduce the issue? Edit mode > SHIFT+S > Snap origin to 3d cursor , that's what It sounds like , but I want to be sure. $\endgroup$ – 4nof Jun 21 at 20:55
  • $\begingroup$ I had to "apply" the curve on the cube first. Before I hadn't applied, the cube was jumping on the axis when I entered the edit mode. Than you did exactly what you said, and it worked. Thank you very much for your help! <3 $\endgroup$ – ceccerant Jun 21 at 21:01
