Disclaimer: You’ll have to explain things to me as if I were a 5 year old.

I have a Mid 2012 Macbook Pro (13 inch) and a Dell Inspiron 15 3521.

Both have graphics cards, none of them are recognized/compatible with blender. Also, both have sucked time and life out of me trying to find a solution to the problem below.

Is there a way to make blender use either of these GPUs, or should I get a new machine? If the latter, what should I get?

Bear in mind, if I were to get a new computer (laptop, ideally), I wouldn’t need a super-mega-awesome GPU that costs four or five digits. Something that will cut my CPU’s cycle render time in half would suffice.

Thanks
