I have a fairly simple car rig that I made using this tutorial. Basically the wheels are children of the car body, with the car's X position acting as drivers for the wheel's rotation. Everything works great in the viewport:viewport

But in the render, the constraints fall apart:

I believe I might have a circular dependency somewhere, but I'm not sure how I would check this or go about solving it. Nothing is shown in either the system console or python console:System Consoleenter image description here

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • $\begingroup$ I got this to work ok using Vers 2.77a. Not sure the shrinkwrap modifier in 2.8x is that much different. I used the central or master parent as I understand you did to keep it all together. I skipped the parent empties for each wheel however but would use them if doing a proper job. You can have the Blend file which I think can be imported into 2.8x See the Dropbox video - If asked to sign in, click in a vacant space... dropbox.com/s/y7otcxdp3bx49xx/Bumps2.gif?dl=0 $\endgroup$ – Edgel3D Feb 18 at 4:04
