I'm making an indie game in the Blender 2.79b game engine and I am attempting to mimic the iconic look of the early 3D games from the 90s. More specifically, this is mimicking the Nintendo 64. I've run into a problem with resolution, unfortunately. Using the built-in standalone fullscreen setting, the game can only run on certain monitors. It appears to simply set the system resolution and fullscreen the game. This means that if the resolution I chose isn't a mode of the monitor, it will not run. Is there any way to not adjust the system resolution and force the game itself to run at a certain internal resolution via Python of GLSL? I need this to be an exact resolution.
