I am new to video editing in general. Basically my video is at 30fps but I want to render everything at 60fps because some of my other video that I will add later will also be 60fps. I learned that I can use a speed control to make 30fps to 60fps and it is totally fine for my needs. However I when I cut a portion of my video, the speed control messes up and does not apply on the new strip. Is there a way to make the speed controller permanently bond with the video so I can make cuts without affecting my stuff?

  • $\begingroup$ Why do you have 2 speed controls? Did you accidently try to cut them too? When you want to cut a clip that has speed control on it, it is enough to cut the clip only, without selecting speed control. For me, cutting a clip with speed control causes it to split to 2 clips, left one with the current speed control and right one - without. $\endgroup$ – internetofmine Dec 16 '19 at 7:47
