I’ve followed this tutorial, which is excessively in depth. Essentially it is a line of verts given a cloth modifier, an empty parented to each vert, and bones between each set of verts with IK set to follow the empties on those verts. The result is a long strand of physics enabled bones which are driven by the cloth physics of the line of verts. The hair is then weighted to those bones, to allow the movement of the mesh.

I have applied the technique to hair, but I can’t figure out how to make the hair collide with the character’s body. I’ve checked a few google searches and messed with settings but nothing seems to affect it whatsoever. I've also asked on another forum but gone days without a lead so I'm asking here now.

See my issue here and a peek at how the armature/model is set up.
