I want to create an animated rectangle/cube bounding box as a separate mesh/object.

There are scripts I tried which create a static bounding box for one frame of an animated object. But I need an animated bounding box which is responsive to the dimensions of the object it belongs to. Is there any way to this, maybe with constraints ... ? I tried out several things but didn't get it to work.

Furthermore, the objects I need the bounding box for change in dimension but not in scale. That's why using the child constraint doesn't work.

I'm thankful for any tips or solutions.
