This how the terrain might look like

I guess this has been asked many times, but Unity terrain is so slow it gives me anxiety while Blender texture paint gives me a headache.

Every time I try to paint to the Blender terrain it's like pixelated but with bilinear filter, as if it lost most of it's detail.

The only thing I can think of is some scaling or tiling toggle.

  • $\begingroup$ Is your question about sculpting or texture painting? About painting, what problem do you meet exactly? You need to give your object an Image Texture, create an image and load it in the Image Texture node, paint in the 3D view, either with a brush or with a texture... $\endgroup$ – moonboots Nov 28 '19 at 12:00
