I'm having a really beautiful scene with a terrain generated completely with nodes on cycles, with displacement nodes playing a key role. Now I wanted to add clouds to the scene, and to reference gaps where the hills are poking into the sky, I tried to bake an image using the terrain as a brush and another plane as a canvas. But since the terrain doesn't actually have height to its geometry, the canvas simply stays blank. Is there a workaround or am I looking at it all wrong? Images have been attached for reference.
