I run blender on ubuntu 18.04. After setting up the system and installing the AMD-pro-gpu driver for my VEGA FE from AMD' s official website, blender performed smoothly completing the BMW demo (gpu only) in 90 seconds.

However, I also tried to train neuron network so also installed ROCM as instructed. After depolying ROCM, I tried the blender BMW demo again. It turned out that CPU render performed the same (which indicates that blender is very likely to be running correctly) but the gpu render is very much slower (9 hours) and sometime even crashes.

I suspect that the blender is now using the ROCM as the gpu driver. But have no clue how to configure it to use AMD-gup-pro like previously. Please help. Any ideas will be appreciated.
