So I upload to mixamo and then import FBX to blender. I repeat the same process but for a different animation. I then go into blender, into dope sheet. Delete the X and Z keyframes and line up the animations via the NLA tab. I then keyframe the location of the object/character. This is the method to ensure multiple animations on the same object work correctly, otherwise the animations would revert back to the original position of the object.

My question is, when the animations transition - for example... running, kicking and then celebrating.

Between transitions it flickers and does not look entirely normal. How do I fix this?

  • $\begingroup$ Can you upload a gif of the flickering? How is your transition set up (add a screenshot)? Your NLA could be set to add for example. $\endgroup$ – Leander Sep 3 at 15:02
