I am attempting to use my University's render garden to render an animation involving smoke. The version of blender I am using is 2.79.

The render garden requires all external data and the .blend file to be saved into a specified directory. Packaging the .blend works fine too. After I bake the smoke cache into the specified directory, I go to render a low sample frame to test to see if the smoke shows up.

After many different tests, the smoke never shows up. I am confused as to why this is because everything else including textures and assets render just fine. It is just the smoke that does not appear.

When I render the scene in blender directly, the smoke shows up! Why is the smoke cache not getting through to the render garden?
