I have made a funky T-rex and am trying to better my animations (fifth week on Blender) but I'm having trouble with the walk cycle and I think it would look better if I could make it so that the T-rex's foot stopped when it collided with the floor. I looked into the physics tab, saw the complexity and cried for a bit and then made this account to ask you fellas. Here are the dinosaur and the floor, he is angry... enter image description here It would be a great help if someone could answer, thank you.

  • $\begingroup$ I don't think you can use physics for this kind of purpose, if you animate your T-rex you need to move the bones, create the keyframes, and fake the physics by yourself $\endgroup$ – moonboots Jul 10 at 6:31
