What I am doing wrong / differently!.

Print3D: Object is a 2” x 2” x 2” cube Volume: 8.0” 3 Area: 23.9999” 2 (Why is this not 24” 2 Scale set to Bounds 2” Apply Scale on output highlighted Object selected

Unit System: Imperial Unit scale set for 1.0000000 No Separate Units set Length: Inches

Software and Versions: Blender 2.8 .STL export scaling / object dimensions reduction. Blender blender-2.80-d30f72dfd8ac-win64 SketchUp Pro 2018 18.0.16975 64bit Silhouette 3D 1.1.113

Exporting Results: 2” x 2” x 2” cube created and saved in Blender. Exported the cube as a .stl file and imported it into Silhouette, object displays as a little cube without dimensions in inches or millimeters. Lock aspect ratio, enter 2.0” for the width, Walla! a 2” x 2” x 2” appears!!!

2” x 2” x 2” cube created and saved in Sketchup. Exported the cube as a .stl file and imported it into Silhouette, object displays as a 2” x 2” x 2” cube, done.

Imported the 2” x 2” x 2” cube created and saved in Blender into Sketchup. Sketchup show the following for the Cube: Volume: 0.226535 in³ Dimensions: .6096”
