Hypothetically, I’m creating a stop motion animation short with CG environment plates produced in Blender. I want to create a tracking shot in which several composited stop motion models are integrated on screen as the camera pushes through multiple planes of the environment. Is there any way for me to export the CG footage with external compositing tags for After Effects (a la Cinema 4d) that can not only carry over the camera data but also show where I want the characters to be when I insert the animation footage? Do I have to run it through C4D lite/Cineware first?
