so I want to know if it is possible to change the distortion value of the fish-eye equidistant setting in cycles render.

The distortion seems to be the same regardless of the angle, focus length and sensor size (even though it says it takes sensor size into account). I know there is also the lens distortion compositing feature, but this has several disadvantages since it is post-editing process. The fish-eye seems to correspond to a lens distortion setting of about 0.02 - 0.05, though thats hard to compare since the images are usually a square.

I would even be ok with extracting the script that runs the fish-eye setting and changing the values in the code, but I have no idea how to extract the script from the function (bpy.ops.ui.reports_to_textblock()), so if any of you know about that it would help as well.

Hope you guys can help me. Thanks.
