I have made a character with an armature to use it in a game. The mesh of the character is parented to the armature. When I append my character and its armature into my game, I cant figure out how to set up physics settings.

I put the logic bricks on the mesh and set the armature to be parent of the mesh. When the character starts pathfinding it sank into the floor (I think because the origin is in the center of the body so it will sink half its size) but if I put the origin on the ground of the character, I cant shoot at his head because its outside the collision box.

When I turn it around and set the logic bricks onto the armature it also sank into the floor. So how do I correctly set this up?

The physics type is set to static and I tried every variant of collision type.

I have added a test.blend so you can try it. The character is focused at startup. There is a player, 3 enemy boxes (almost working) and the character enemy. I also pushed the boxes up a bit so you can see they start sinking when they start path finding.

  • $\begingroup$ Try placing the origin of the object on the feet, place the origin at 0,0,0 and try, I will try this week to find a solution $\endgroup$ – user58715 Jul 4 '19 at 21:58
